Westminster, MD – July 22, 2013
NoWorriesIT, a Westminster-based networking and computer services company, is sponsoring their sixth semi-annual Recycling Computers for Charity collection drive beginning August 15th through September 20th. According to company president Don McCombie, “Old, non-restorable computers that would otherwise end up at the landfill, are sanitized (data removed) and taken to a local recycling center for cash rebates.” NoWorriesIT then matches the cash rebate and donates the total amount to one of two local charities. The 2013 fall charity is Neighbors in Need, Year Round, a program of Human Services Programs of Carroll County, Inc. NoWorriesIT asks any individual or business with non-working computer towers, laptops, or cables (no keyboards, monitors or printers, please), who would like to donate to this program, to drop off the equipment at one of four convenient drop-off sites: NoWorriesIT office in the Airport Business Park at 57 Aileron Court, Suite 14 in Westminster, Cartridge World at 330 140 Village Road in Westminster, Carroll County Screen Printing at 1 Broad Street in Taneytown, or S. B. Technology Resource in Mount Airy (call 410-608-5299 for S. B. Technology drop-off) anytime during the August 15-September 20th drive. “It’s a win-win,” says McCombie. “You will be keeping equipment out of the landfill as well as helping a local non-profit.” For more information about NoWorriesIT, call 410-751-7650 or visit www.noworriesit.net.
