We’re looking for artists to submit Ignite the night with their T-shirt design.
The spirit of Ignite is to amuse, educate, enlighten, and inspire the audience. A design that would Ignite the night (of Ignite talks) is one that embodies this year’s focus: Igniting action.
Contest Details:
Designs will be reviewed by the Carroll Technology and Innovation Council staff alongside staff members from the Carroll County Arts Council for their embodiment of the Ignite theme along with their adherence to professional principles of good design and submission requirements. The design does need to feature the Ignite logo, but it could feature words and variations such as “Ignite Carroll 11,” “Ignite and Act,” “Ignite and Inspire,” “Ignite Action,” or related phrasing. The design may feature elements representing electric currents and connections, fire or heat, and geometric symbols, but it is not requirement.
One winner will have their digital design selected to be printed on a short-sleeve shirt and sold at Ignite Carroll 11 at the Carroll Arts Center on October 18th, 2023. The proceeds from shirt sales will go to the Carroll Technology and Innovation Council and towards sustaining the Ignite concept and community presence in Carroll County, MD. The winner will receive recognition online, in the event program, and in CTIC event programming. They will also receive a free T-shirt of their design and a $25 gift card to a Main St café. If the winner is a student they will also receive free student membership to the Carroll Technology and Innovation Council.
