Create brilliant light up signs with your own design!
During this program you will create a USB powered edge-lit acrylic sign.
** Please bring a USB mini cord that will be used to power the sign **
Attendees will first learn how to design their sign in the professional vector graphics editor, Inkscape, that is freely available (download at try at home!). You will then use our laster to engrave your design on acrylic. Assembly steps will include connecting acrylic to wooden base and connecting the power to the LED which includes soldering.
No experience is necessary. Our team will help you through entire process.
Each attendee will be able to make and take 1 sign with them for $10. Payment will be taken at the event by credit or debit only.
**Please note: makers in elementary and middle school must have a parent or guardian in attendance. High school makers must have parent permission.
