What time is it?!? Make a clock powered by Arduino and lit up with LEDs! You’ll decide on the clock face design and overall aesthetics & accents and we’ll provide a set of electronics with LEDs that illuminate the time.
No experience is necessary, only imagination is required & our team will help you through entire process. Ting Makerspace projects are often organic and feature a wide range of customization options – we’ll provide a core Arduino code that gets time from internet servers and updates regularly. For makers interested in programming this clock can be reprogrammed to add features and functionality beyond the initial design. Upon registration you will receive an invoice via Square that must be paid by one week prior to the event, July 6, 2019.
Each attendee will be able to make and take 1 clock for $25 and receive 2 additional day passes to use the Makerspace in the future. Some projects may not finish in the allotted time if paints or glues require time to dry/cure.
**Please note: makers in elementary and middle school must have a parent or guardian in attendance. High school makers must have parent permission.
