Help Build The Scott Adelman Memorial Fund
About Scott
Scott was the Director of Sales and Marketing at Next Level Technology in Hunt Valley, and had served as a Board Member on both the Carroll Tech Council and Howard Tech Council as its business member representative.
For many years, Scott was the organizer of the CTIC’s weekly Roundtable lively discussions & meetings and met with our members regularly. He was the captain of NL Tech’s Golf Team and is the current defending three time champion of the CTIC Open (our annual Golf Tournament).
His passing is a great loss for many, including those of us in the Carroll Technology & Innovation Council. He is survived by his wife Mindy, and children Lauren, Brent, and Olivia Adelman, step-children Risa, Matthew, and Alec Galler; sisters Sharon Adelman and Faith Adelman; mother Barbara Adelman; and others.
Scott M. Adelman was a founding member, former board member and committee chair of the Carroll Technology & Innovation Council, but more importantly, a friend and mentor to all of us. He passed away on October 22, 2016 at the age of 53 as a result of a heart attack that he suffered earlier in the week. As an organization, we are deeply saddened by this great loss.
The Scott M. Adelman Memorial Scholarship was established with the Community Foundation of Carroll County to honor his memory. This fund provides a scholarship for a graduating senior or continuing education student from any Carroll County High School or College pursing an undergraduate degree in marketing, business, computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or other technology related field, who meets the criteria established for this fund.
The Carroll Technology & Innovation Council is an independent nonprofit (501-c3) therefore your donation to the Fund will be completely tax deductible. You will receive an official letter for tax purposes after making a donation to the Fund.
