CTIC executive director Molly Sherman is presenting at the Carroll County Community Foundation’s October Lunch & Learn, helping CFCC Fund and Scholarship holders build a working understanding of AI. The session opens with a quick look at where AI came from and the terms people use to describe it, followed by a small-group discussion on what makes AI both exciting and unsettling. From there, Molly walks through the basics of chatting with AI tools, demos how to build a system prompt for a nonprofit, and shows how NotebookLM can help prepare for funding opportunities. The session wraps with each attendee drafting a short personal mission statement for how they’ll use AI in their own work.
This Lunch & Learn is open to CFCC Fund and Scholarship holders and includes lunch. Bring a laptop, or just follow along on the big screen.
