Celebrating 25 years of service

The Carroll Technology and Innovation Council (CTIC) has been advancing technology access, education, and innovation in Carroll County since 2001. Created by the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce, CTIC became an independent nonprofit in 2004 under the name Carroll Technology Council. In 2020, the Council adopted its current name to reflect a growing focus on innovation alongside technology.

Today, the Carroll Technology and Innovation Council teaches digital skills to older adults, job seekers, and small businesses in Carroll County — helping people develop the awareness and agency to engage with technology on their own terms. Our work starts from a simple premise: technology should work for people, not the other way around.
