Attack of the Internet of Things! This two-part course is all about making something that connects to the internet and exploring what IoT is capable of. We’ll be making a desk lamp that connects to your home wi-fi network and can be controlled remotely. The lamp will have a wood base cut using our CNC router, a shade fabricated using the laser cutter, and accents from either the Cricut Cutter or 3D printer. You’ll have the opportunity to personalize your lamp shade with a design of your choice. Pre-registration is required and the fee includes both sessions and materials.
**Please note: makers in elementary and middle school must have a parent or guardian in attendance. High school makers must have parent permission.
